Vändra Gymnasium, Estonia
Our school:
Vändra Gymnasium is situated in the middle of Estonia, about 125 km away from our capital, Tallinn.
There are about 320 students in our school and about 2,500 inhabitants in Vändra.
Our school is proud of their results in the academic field as well as in sports and music.
This project with the Norwegian school is the 6th Nordplus Junior project for our school. Previously we have had projects with Icelantic, Faroese, Finnish, Danish, and Lithuanian schools.
Our students are open to the world and interested in taking part in international projects.
LØKENÅSEN SCHOOL, NORWAY
Our school:
Løkenåsen school is situated on the east side of Norway. The school is only 10 minutes from Oslo by car. We have around 300 students and approximately 45 teachers. Our school consists of a separate building only for those student who have special needs, so that they can get the assistance they require. We also have a separate class for all those students who are learning the Norwegian language. Here foreign students get a chance to learn Norwegian for approximately one year, before being put into ordinary classes.
This project is our schools third project. And we have visited many different countries in the past.
